Role Description:
The Legal Compliance Officer is responsible for safeguarding TEDA’s legal integrity, statutory compliance, institutional governance, and operational risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and support the development of MoUs, partnership agreements, donor agreements, contracts, and institutional policies.
  2. Advise TEDA leadership on legal, governance, compliance, and operational matters.
  3. Support compliance with applicable Ugandan laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
  4. Advise on NGO regulatory requirements, taxation, data protection, safeguarding, and risk management.
  5. Identify and mitigate institutional and operational risks.
  6. Strengthen TEDA’s governance and compliance systems.
