Role Description:
The Diaspora Coordinator serves as TEDA’s international bridge-builder, connecting the organization’s grassroots operations with Teso and Bukedi professionals, elites, organizations, and supporters living abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and coordinate TEDA diaspora chapters in countries with significant Teso and Bukedi communities.
- Mobilize international expertise, mentorship, networks, and resources to support TEDA programs.
- Organize virtual global town halls, diaspora forums, and international engagement activities.
- Support international fundraising and resource mobilization initiatives.
- Identify global grant opportunities and connect international academic, corporate, and development partners with local community needs.
- Build a strong and sustainable global network of TEDA supporters.
