Role Description:
The Diaspora Coordinator serves as TEDA’s international bridge-builder, connecting the organization’s grassroots operations with Teso and Bukedi professionals, elites, organizations, and supporters living abroad.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and coordinate TEDA diaspora chapters in countries with significant Teso and Bukedi communities.
  2. Mobilize international expertise, mentorship, networks, and resources to support TEDA programs.
  3. Organize virtual global town halls, diaspora forums, and international engagement activities.
  4. Support international fundraising and resource mobilization initiatives.
  5. Identify global grant opportunities and connect international academic, corporate, and development partners with local community needs.
  6. Build a strong and sustainable global network of TEDA supporters.
